Ummbo’s journey began with a trip to Kyoto, Japan. The founder walked into an old incense shop and was deeply moved by the lingering scent of smoke and wood. At that moment, he realized that fragrance not only regulates mood but also calms the mind. After returning to China, Ummbo began exploring the possibilities of natural incense materials, adhering to handmade incense, rejecting all chemical additives, and incorporating Japanese Zen aesthetics, combining millennia of incense-making wisdom with modern minimalist design.
